Software Engineer
Description
At Blue Frog Gaming, we look for people with a strong ability to get things done. Our developers are responsible for more than just coding. Their ideas help shape both our products and our processes. We aren't looking for someone to just pump out lines of code, we want someone who can also learn from us the things we know, and teach us some of the many we don't.
Our developers build games on the Facebook and iOS platforms. We use Ruby on Rails and Objective C.
As an employee, you would work on a small and dynamic team to produce multiple games per year. Our organizational structure is very flat, and there is no bureaucracy, features are sometimes live in production within hours of conception. We move fast, use iterative development, and strive to always maintain a working code-base.
Preferred:
Experience working on a code base with a team.
Experience developing games.
Experience developing web-sites.
Experience working on thousands of lines of code.
Bonus Points:
Samples of games or websites you have built in the past.
Open source contributions.
Ability to fashion a smoke bomb from common office supplies.
